The perfect date-part 3

She was wearing her favorite white tube top and paired it with shorts that showed off her gorgeous long legs. She looked very chic and younger than her age. Her hair was tied in a ponytail. The only thing that was missing in her was her smile.

He couldn’t take off his eyes from her. He blew a loud whistle and said, “ You look hot! There is something that you need to do ...(he pulls out the ponytail , freeing the hair that was tied so tightly). Now! Now ! Look at you..You look fatal.”

“Where are we going?” she asked while they were walking. “You ask too many questions. Have patience, girl! Wait till we reach.”, he joked. Within few hours, they were standing next to ‘The comedy store’.
Claudia was puzzled and before she could ask him any questions, he said, “Before you ask anything, this is the best place to relieve all your sorrows.” She wondered , “What does he mean by, ‘relieving sorrows’? What does he know about my pain stricken life? He’s still a stranger to me.” She just rolled her eyes and followed him.

The stand up comedians presented their gigs one by one. Each one of them was funnier and more comic than the previous one. It was very difficult to judge all of them. Claudia had never laughed so much in her life. He was damn right. It did help her to forget her bitter life for some time.

She came out of the place with big bright smile on her face. “I come here once a while to forget my past. I hope it had the same effect on you.”, he said. “It did! I think I could be their regular customer.” , she said.  All the way to their next location, she spoke about how she was enjoying the night. “How about we stretch our legs? We need them more right now.”, he said.

She felt awkward at the ballroom. It had been long time she did ballroom dancing. “ I don’t think I can do this. Let’s go” she said with pinch of embarrassment. “You can do this. You are a good dancer. You need to follow me.” he convinced her. “No way! I am a ballet dancer and not a ballroom dancer.” , she said. He grabbed her hand and led her to dance. Most of the time, she stepped on his foot or missed some steps. But in the end, they completed the perfect jive routine.

“That was a good start, Claudia.” ,he applauded her. Her legs had started to ache after the dance. She took off her heels and sat on the floor. “You look damn tired. Let’s take a cab to our next destination.”, he said calmly.

Wow! Who was this guy? Why was he helping her? She was surprised that the same guy who was showing her good time , was going to kill her yesterday. She knew he was immortal living on human’s blood. She wanted to know more about him. Oh gosh! She didn’t know his name. She was having fun with a stranger who knew everything about her.
