The perfect date - part 4a

“Augie! Where have you been? I have been looking for you everywhere. Come with me! I have found that bloke at last whoowed you 50 pounds.” , his friend, Bob said.
They were standing next to huge man. “I don’t owe you anything, macer.”, the man argued. “You do, brother.”, a feminine voice said behind him. He turned behind to scold his meddling sister. It was her-the mysterious girl who had stolen Augustus’s heart. She looked so young and innocent to be sister of the huge man. She came a little closer to Augie and paid his money. “Here take this. I hope my brother has no more dues to be paid to you”, she said with soft sweet voice. She left before he could show her his gratitude.
It was days since he met her. But he felt as if it was yesterday that he had met her. He was sitting on the bench at his private garden. He was enjoying the morning breeze. “The breakfast is ready, sir . Lord Arthur has asked you to accompany him for the breakfast. ,the maid said. He wanted to spend some more time with breeze and thoughts. As he was about to give the orders for maid to leave him alone, he noticed the maid. What a coincidence! She was here. The girl of his dreams was actually here. She didn’t recognize him but he did.
At the breakfast table, she assisted the head maid to serve them. He couldn’t take his eyes from her. His mind was blocked by her thoughts. It didn’t matter what his father was speaking. He wondered how someone could be so enchanting.  She left the dinning room after serving them. “Father, who is that new maid?” , he asked. “She is Jane, Rosy’s niece. She has joined today and would assist Rosy.” ,his father said.  “Could you replace her in place of Alex to attend me?”he asked. “Oh why naught! You don’t need my permission, son.”
He tried all the ways to get her attention. But she wouldn’t respond to any of his advances. He was disappointed. She was far away from him though he was close to her.
He was in his room. He was completing one of his art pieces. There was something missing in it. He tore the page for nth time and threw the paint box in a fit of rage. It spilled all over the floors. He saw her standing across the room. She looked frightened by his actions. “Sorry Jane. You can come in. You don’t have to be afraid.”, he said. “No, I will come a little later. I guess it is naught the right time.”, she said in frightened tone. He came a bit closer to her and grabbed her into his arms. He couldn’t control his emotions and kissed her. She couldn’t fight his strength and kissed him back. It was a beginning of sweet love story.
They were not alone. A charming demon stood outside the windowstaring at Jane. His eyes were gleaming as if he had found some treasure in the barren land.                                                                 (To be continued)
