The Perfect Getaway- Part 12

He was shocked. His life was there and now he would be sent back to death bed which was only known to mortals of this dreadful earth. He shouldn't have sneaked out. He should have waited for the right time. The right time hadn't arrived yet.

He no longer liked surprises. He had started to detest them to the core. He had too many surprises for the day and he had enough of them. He was happy with the plain life. He cursed the time he had his eyes on her. He scolded himself for not controlling his lust for blood.

Life was the only thing he desired now. Oh! How he wished he could have his happy days back? This tension filled situation was not right for him. Risk taking ablity was not his cup of tea. He was used to old technique of seduction and killing the prey. He wished he hadn't listened to Nicole. Ah! So many unfulfilled fantansies.

His expressions were almost dead. It was like as if he knew his fate. " Your bite was terrible and so was ur stare.", she said. " What?", he asked , feeling mixture of shock and embarassment. " Yes, An old man can bite better than you even with his fake teeth. Your techniques are out dated. Haven't you seen the movies? Even the humans are better than you.", she mocked. His face turned red with embarassment.

" Your method of hynotizing the victim is too familiar. It's funny that you kept on trying even after so many failed attempts. Didn't you get any idea that I was not normal.", she said. He didn't have answer. He did notice that she was strange unlike his other victims. But never in his wildest dreams did he think that she was a monster. "I am a witch", she said, at last spelling out the truth to him. His jaws were open at the word witch.  How did he not come across that? He knew that the tribes of witches coming for them. But he never knew that she was the one.

He said no softly. His voice was too soft for her to hear.  "Serve me.", she said. " What!", he said in astonishment. "Serve you! Never! I am my own boss.", he continued. " I didn't request you. I am ordering you.", she said politely. " I don't take orders.", he said. " Now you will! Your life is in my hand. I can take your life whenever I want.", she said with folded hands. He huffed out like defiant child agreeing to the terms of his mother. The sun was out and new day was begun. So was his relationship with Hannah as her loyal servant had begun.

The Perfect Getaway- Part 11

He wanted to run. But escaping from her was impossible. He was shocked, sacred and frustrated. There was no way out. His friend was dead meat. The girl was not easy. Gosh! He still couldn't believe that Hannah.. a sweet next door girl was terror in the house.

" Awww, Frankie! Look at you, poor thing. I know how you are feeling.",she said, squeezing his cheeks gently. He smiled nervously. He looked everywhere helplessly. Indeed he was stuck in his own trap. " Don't think about that.", she said. " What?", he asked weakly." Escaping! I know it clearly that you want to escape. Do you know what? You are tiny ant and I could have stamped you quickly on the day when we first met. But I didn't.", she said.

"Don't kill me.", he begged. " Oh frankie baby! Everyone loves their life than anything else in world. What is love when you don't have life to enjoy it. So did I. I loved him so much without any expectations. You know what he did.. He left me at aisle for your evil friend.", she said with lot of hatred.

Tiny drops appeared on Francois's eyes due to fear of life. He had to pay heavy for his foolish desire as well as Nicole's devil plans. If and only if Nicole could control her risk taking ability, he wouldn't facing this day in life. "Yes, your friend Nicole took away the life of my precious love . She also took away the only source of my life. I digged out your clan and the weakest link was sitting on the beach in the south of France. You were key to Nicole's death and killing you will be my mistake. You have helped me in some way.", she said while promising him that she will spare his life

He gasped out for some air. He still couldn't believe that his life was spared. He was in state.of disbelief. This was like a nightmare to him. He wanted to be at safe place away from her. He searched for perfect opportunity to runaway. He slightly got up and tried to sneak out. Unfortunately she turned to his side at that point.

" Wait! Where are you going? I am not done.", she said. He was done with her. He was relieved that his life was with him. Now he just wanted to leave and wondered what else she wanted to tell him. Or did she change her mind? The colour of his face changed with the very thought of losing his life again.

The Perfect Getaway- Part 11

Nicole walked inside her room.  She thought about the girl. There must be something mysterious screaming out from Hannah's face. Who was she? What did Francois bring- A prey or hunter? Whatever she is, she was going out of this place, dead or alive.

She walked outside to lounge area where Francois and Hannah sat, laughing and chatting to each other. " Who are you?", Nicole asked anxiously. " Nicole! What's wrong with you? Are you trying to act schizophrenic?", Francois joked. Nicole stared annoyingly at him.

She got herself composed and ready to fight. " Really, who are you, Hannah? Are you a ghost hunter? If you are one, then you are hunting down the wrong people.", she said. Hannah looked startled and said in feeble voice, "What are you saying? Ghost hunter! I am an innocent tourist trying to have fun at strange place. Why would I want to kill? And you.. you are these good people who have treated me well." This made Nicole furious.

" Don't lie. I know who you are. A freaking ghost hunter. But you have no idea whom you are messing with. You don't know that what kind of monsters we are. We are too dangerous for even the most powerful of us.", Nicole said while colour of her pupils changed from grey to evil silver.

The smile vanished from Hannah's lips. Her expression were neither of scared ghost hunter nor weak human. The features of her face hardened and her eyes emitted cold sparkle. She got up with vengeance like as if the time arrived to disclose her truth.

Hannah walked close towards Nicole. What she did later shocked Francois. She grabbed Nicole by her neck and twisted her until she tore her ( Nicole) head apart from the bod. She threw her head like a football. Nicole's body burnt itself. Hannah chanted spells softly while licking her fingers in order to clean them from the blood of Nicole. Francois was speechless. He had lost a friend. He was staring at a girl whose blood he had desired while she murdered his friend in cold blood.

The Perfect Getaway- Part 10

She came with him without asking any question for the first time. She didn't utter a word or make a noise. It was strange. He tried to break the silence but her responses was only a nod. ' Maybe she takes time to let people in. She did the same with him.", he wondered.

When she met Nicole, she was stunned. She felt as if she was meeting someone so familiar.. someone she knew for many years... someone whom she wanted to meet for a long time.

She disliked her instantly. Nicole didn't have to introduce herself. Her smoky grey eyes, dark black hair and a smile that held secrets of her real desires was enough to make Hanna hate her for no reason. " Hi Hanna. I have heard a lot about you. Frankie.. Francois speaks lot about you.", Nicole said in thick English accent unlike her friend. Hannah smirked at her and gave her the most artificial hug.

Nicole was good hostess indeed. She made sure Hannah was served with care. Obviously Hannah was the lamb amongst the lions present and she was supposed to be well fed. A well fed and happy prey was good to taste. This was a rule that Nicole and her clan followed.

Hannah wanted to go home. Though Nicole was good at treating her well, she felt there was something wrong. Maybe she was too shy to let people in. Nicole was overly friendly towards her. She felt threatened by this nature of Nicole. " Maybe I have been surrounded by people like me. She is different.", she wondered.

Nicole felt strange about this mystery girl.Something wasn't right. Hannah's reserved nature held so many hidden mysteries screaming out of her. Who was this strange girl? Hannah's nervous smile, petal shaped eyes filled with suspicious thoughts and quiet demure aroused some unanswered questions in Nicole's mind. Is she ghost hunter?

The Perfect Getaway- Part 9

She was difficult to impress. She would outsmart him every way. She was bestowed with beauty as well as brain. He had charmed every girl with his lies about world around him. They never questioned him like her. Every sentence he uttered led her to ask questions to him. Her non stop questioning made him nervous and he would stop talking.

Her past was something she rarely discussed .  Every time he changed the subject to her life, she would avoid by either getting furious or with any other topic which was never related to her. She was complicated.. unsolved mystery that had awaken his inquisitive mind. He wanted to know this mysterious girl. Who was she?

Human needs are complicated and interlinked. Both of them had different needs . One was trying to free her heart from the pain while the other was in love with blood of the human. Hannah forgot the pain with him while Francois was very determined to get her blood.

He waited for perfect opportunity to bite her. It never came. As he sat, pondering on how to extract blood from her on clear blue sky afternoon at Nicole ( Cheteau)'s summer house.  " You are thinking too much. If I were you, I would just pounce on my prey than seduce it. She is human, Francois. La Morde!", Nicole said.

He kept quiet. Nicole was right but he enjoyed to hunt his prey in slow way rather pouncing on them. Nicole was quick and aggressive. However she didn't realize that her quick aggressive acts had raised doubts in the world parallel to their world. She was getting overconfident after killing the small time sorcerer. It was getting dangerous and there were rumours that the some witches had started killing their clan one by one.

" Why don't you bring her here? ", she asked, distracting him from his thoughts. "No way! She is mine. I won't share.", he said. "Ok! I won't touch her. But if you don't , then she will someone else. You are my dear friend and out of skills. Let me help you. I will only have drop of her or if you want , I will only show you how to do it quick.", she said. He couldn't say no to her. She was genuine friend who always helped him when he was in confusion like this one. He decided to take her to Nicole.

The Perfect Getaway - Part 8

She was sitting in the cafe and reading a book. It was blue sunny day.. perfect for swim.. perfect for a stroll... perfect for love.. perfect for many other nice things. But she was not at all interested in for swim or stroll or love. A book was only ideal option she had to spend her time. Unfortunately her mind was fixed in previous incidents.

She hadn't got over the last afternoon events when she saw him standing in front of her. Not again! Some people don't change. He smiled at her , hoping to change her mood. She smirked at him. He didn't care and took a seat.

She didn't get up and she was tired of running away. She sat at the same place. As she quietly spent her time, he started searching way to speak to her. He saw a waiter coming towards their table with the cup of hot coffee. An idea struck him. He tripped the waiter as soon as he was close to their table. The hot coffee fell on her soft hands and large drop fell on the book, staining the pages.

She was furious and turned towards the waiter. She stared at him with burning eyes. The waiter quickly got up and ran for his life. The time wasn't exactly right. But he didn't want to take any chances. He wanted her.
" Sorry!", he asked for forgiveness and knew he wouldn't get .

" For what?", she asked. " ( He laughs) You forgot!", he said in thick french accent. " What!! I haven't forgiven you for anything.", she said. " Why?  I am sorry for flirting with you. You are so pretty and no guy would ever not glance at you with love.", he said. What he said did seem right. She was not going to lose anything by forgiving someone. He hadn't committed any heinous crime. It was harmless flirting. She forgave him at last and made it clear they were just friends.

Everything was normal. He had to take things slowly. He was okay to being friends with her. But there was something in her that raised so many doubts in him. Why did she shy away whenever he spoke about love? Why was she not getting charmed by any of his tricks? She was different from all the other preys he had hunted.

The perfect Getaway- Part 7

She didn't forgive him and left him alone in wilderness of Chateau wine yard. He looked at her like a lost lion gazing at it's tempting prey. A pure blood was gone. His desire to drain her to his heart's fill remained unfulfilled for the day.He wished he could replay the events and changed what had happened.

He didn't give up. He would drop in wherever she went. Her scent was enough for him to locate her. But she was smart unlike her kind. She would vanish whenever she spotted her. Chasing her was an impossible task. He was in state where he wanted to leave this chase but his ego continued to fight to get

He found ways to be with her. He tried to rekindle his friendship with her but she was too adamant.  It didn't work out for him. He was fed up but his need didn't let him sit in peace. He pursued her with even more determination. He needed her.

Love is sweet yet sour. She had begun to live life and forget past. But this absurd stranger was making it difficult to erase the past.. erase love out of her life. She wasn't attracted to him. But she had that feeling that he was flirting with her for some unknown reason. She was aware that all guys were same. No one was going to be shining armour man.

He followed her everywhere like lost dog. She pushed him aside. One fine day, it had become too much for her to handle him. He had followed her as usual and she was strolling normally. When she noticed this, she increased pace and screamed loudly for help. People gathered and some concerned men asked her what had happened. She narrated them whole story.

Then they hit him badly with stones and pebbles. He was wounded badly by brutal hits. He could have thrashed them in one hand. But he didn't want to disclose his identity in public. It was against the code of cold blooded creatures. In the hotel room, images of him being wounded brutally circled her mind. Was she hard to him? But he was a stranger and this was a strange land. She had learnt as a child that never to believe strangers.
