Love and heartbreak -Part 4

Every heartbreak story we hear, it seems like our story being told in different ways. Molly felt worse when her friends spoke about their love and heartbreaks. She did feel for them but she was tired of hearing same old thing. Sometimes she wished that she would run away to strange place where love didn’t exist or bothered anymore.

Dance was the only way that released her from the pain. She had thrown out all the memories ( books, movies and etc) that reminded of love away. She had told herself that she was never going to fall in love again. She put all her energies into dance from morning to noon. During the mornings, she would spend time teaching dance at her institute. When evenings came, she would take part in street dance competitions. She came home tired and only energy left to write her diary.

Sometimes she would open the old entries of diary to revisit the sweet memories with Randy. She didn’t understand why she did that. But she missed them terrible. Those carefree days with him would never come again. Why did he leave her? She had given him what he needed. Then why? The reason he gave was not satisfactory- she was needy. Needy!

She remembered the times when she would message or call him. Her messages would be about his welfare and what he did or not did. She would only share her problems with him because she felt comfortable with him. She felt happy and relaxed with him. If that is called needy, yes! she was needy.. needy of his affection, attention and care. But she never got that back.

She had enough of this crap and kept her book aside. She was about to turn the lights when a message triggered on her phone. She checked it even though she didn’t want to. It was Mohit! She was surprised. How the hell did he get her number? “ Hi! How did you get my number?”, she pinged him back.  In a minute, he replied, “ You said that you are popular. So I got your number from the popular source. And hey! Who publishes their phone number in Fb.”

She cursed badly at herself. She had thought that she had removed her mobile number from the facebook. She had been getting random messages lately. “ Thanks for telling me! I thought I had removed it. I will do it soon.”, she said and wishing him good night. “Wait! It is still 11:40 in night. It is still young and you are sleeping soon.”, he flirted. “I have work tommorrow. Nice talking to you”, she said  and she switched off her phone. She had enough doses of broken love and she didn’t want to face heartbreak again and get tagged again as needy or clingy.

( To be continued)
