Suspicious wife-part 2

She had not much work to do. As usual she had allocated the servitors work. She lay on the couch with the magazine. In the course of time, her eyes closed due to boredom.

“Hi sweetie!”, someone called , nudging her gently. She opened her eyes to see her aunt looking at her with a bit over protectiveness in her eyes. “ Hi aunt! I didn’t expect you. You were supposed to come around at 4pm.”, Disha said, yawning in between. She rolled her eyes and asked her to wash her face. Disha did as she was told so.

“ You are sleeping peacefully here. You may increase your waist line if you sleep like this. Why don’t you take care of yourself? I don’t know what will happen to you if am not here.” , she scolded her softly. Disha smiled at her aunt’s caring nature. She was right. What will she do without her? She gave one of her bear hugs. “Now, now, now , you know how to make your aunt’s heart melt? Get dressed soon!”, her aunt said
Her aunt was only friend she got. It wasn’t that she had no friends. But her aunt was someone she could trust on anything...even the matters that she couldn’t discuss freely with Luv.

They were at a mall. They were mostly window shopping and would hop into only those shops that gave lucrative discount offer. They hadn’t shop much. As their feet couldn’t take any more, they stopped at cafĂ© at the food court. They were engrossed in their gossip when aunt saw a young man resembling Luv talking to a young woman.

“Dear, that man behind you looks like Luv. Just look behind for a second.”, she said. “What aunt! He’s in the meeting, I know. Why would he be here? If he was, he would call me.”, she said as she turned to side she was asked to look. Her eyes shrunk to see clearly at the man. It indeed was Luv. “What was he doing here? Who was that lady he was talking to? Maybe it was one of his clients. But why would he meet them at the mall?” she wondered.

As he hugged her, Disha’s heart pained. This was not happening to her. “Who was he hugging and why? Was this a meeting with the client, he sacrificed his lunch. Oh god let this not to be true?”, she thought. Her aunt squeezed her hand to comfort her. However it didn’t. Nothing consoled her heart. She ran away from the scene to the parking lot. She kneeled down next to her car and cried hard. She felt some one place a hand on her shoulder. She looked up. To her dismay, it was not Luv but her aunt.

(To be continued)
