The perfect date-part 1

She could barely walk on the footpath. She lost her balance a couple of times but she managed herself. Her eyes were bloody red. She had no idea where she was walking. She kept on walking until the roads were empty and only streets lights gave her company. Her legs were getting tired and weary. She wanted to stop but her heart ordered her to walk.

Suddenly she felt something pass behind her. She stopped to see who it was. There was no one behind her. She convinced herself that she had too many shots of vodka because of which she was hallucinating. She continued walking. After few minutes she felt the same – something eerie passing behind her, but this time it was a bit closer. She stopped and turned to see and it was no one again. She got annoyed that someone was playing tricks with her. She screamed, “Hey! Whoever it is, it’s not funny.”

As she turned to walk forward, she slipped and was about to fall. She felt someone grab her hand and pull her toward him. She had never seen such a beauty. He was handsome and tall. His skin was pale white as if there was no blood. His skin felt so cold. His face was innocent yet charming. His smile was intoxicating that was driving her crazy. His thick hair bore a ruffled look. He had sea green eyes.

“Meal time” he said. She didn’t understand what he was saying. “What! Thank You. But I had my supper already.” ,she said . He held her hips tighter as he bought her closer towards him. “Is he going to kiss me?” she wondered.

“No! I am not going to kiss you.” , he said.  She was shocked to hear her thoughts being read loud by a stranger. “I am going to kill you. You are my dinner tonight.”,he continued. His fangs showed up in place of his perfect teeth. His eyes changed colour from sea green to violent red. He wanted take a bite of her neck so badly. The thoughts of the taste of her sweet blood tempted him more. She knew that her time had finally come. The death had come at her doorstep. Her face showed no fear but a beautiful smile.

It confused him and he asked, “ It’s so weird that you smile not fear of death.” “ Death! Death is my long lost friend whom I am searching for a long time. Why do I have to fear when I have nothing to lose. No one would even worry about my death.” ,she said. He was perplexed. Nevertheless he continued with his work. He came closer and closer to her neck to take that everlasting bite.
(To be continued)
